Appendix 1: Catalogue of marks on panel supports
This appendix presents a catalogue of identified and unidentified maker’s marks on Flemish and Dutch panel supports, with illustrated examples in Marks on Art and links to available biographical information in RKDartists. It is intended as a practical tool for the identification of marks and as a resource for further research into workshop practices and the networks of early modern panel making. The appendix is divided into two sections: identified marks on Flemish panels, and unidentified marks on Flemish and Dutch panels.
